         2 cloves garlic, minced

         1 cup heavy cream

         1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

         Coarsely chopped fresh parsley leaves, for serving


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Chicken
    Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat canola oil. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
    In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Incorporate Cheese and Seasonings
